SacMoves sent a letter to City of Sacramento on the draft Climate Action Plan. The letter expresses concerns that the draft plan was weak in several areas, and made suggestions for improvement:

• Lacks a sense of urgency
• Does not include the adaptation section
• Has no funding plan
• Insufficiently addresses issues of equity
• Fails to provide for robust accountability
• Ignores several of the key recommendations of the Mayor’s Commission on Climate Change (MCCC)
