February 16 Meeting

The SacMoves Coalition will be meeting Friday, February 16, 2024, online via Zoom. If you are on the email list, you will receive a Zoom link and agenda before the meeting. If you are not, please email Farva Batool, FBatool@sacbreathe.org, to get on the list.

We are now meeting every other month, even months, therefore February, April, June, August, October, December. The meetings are almost always on the third Friday of the month.

Discussions are open to organization liaisons and to individuals. Decisions are by consensus or vote of the organizational members.

SacMoves Coalition Agenda

  1. SacMoves website is live.
    1. Volunteers for website management team to join Dan and David, team would address uncertainty, not routine updates.
  2. Candidate questionnaire and mayoral forum update:
    1. discuss LWV Climate Justice Mayoral Forum
    2. questionnaire committee decided not to host a forum, but will do a written questionnaire and post answers, will wait until after primary election March 5
  3. Letters
    1. Draft SacMoves letter to Sac City Council on 2040 General Plan update; we are mostly supportive; 
    2. Affirm use of improved vector format SacMoves logo on letters and other places; affirm use of coalition members list rather than logos on letters; 
  4. Communication
    1. SacMoves will have a periodic newsletter, the first by our April meeting
    2. SacMoves will use our website/blog to communicate events and letters
