SacMoves Coalition has submitted a letter to the Sacramento City Council in support of adoption of the 2024 General Plan, to be considered at council on February 27, 2024. Agenda item 22 recommends adoption of the General Plan, the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan, and the Master Environmental Impact Report.

SacMoves encourages our organization members and individuals to support adoption of the plan. You can attend the meeting to speak in person (best), or submit an eComment beforehand, details in the agenda. The plan is innovative and forward looking, a great improvement over the 2035 plan. A number of city policies and documents will be completed after adoption of the plan, and these are critically important to successful implementation, so SacMoves and our members will continue to monitor the plan and supporting for implementation.
